Academic Talk: ��Fine-tuning: Before and After��

The academic talk was successfully held in Room 122, Main Building on 25th March 2009 with Professor Amy B.M. Tsui as our guest speaker. She has discussed the Fine-Tuning Policy from the Linguistics point of view in this talk. Her sharing was thought-provoking and inspiring, which gave andience an insight into the education policy.

Linguistics Society Annual Bazaar

The Annaul Bazaar was successfully held in February 2009. Handmade Fukuyama Rose, Rilakkuma Bears, dolls and candies were sold at our counter to raise fund for the society.

In celebrating our 10th birthday, our society has organized the10th Anniversary Dinner, which was a golden opportunity to recall memories, gather with staff members and meet former and current executive committees of Linguistics Society. The 10th Inauguration Ceremony of Linguistics Society, AAHKUSU Session 2008 - 2009 was successfully held in the Convocation Room on 27 November 2008 with Dr. Isaac Man Cheung Yue and Dr Stephen Matthews as our guests of honour. The transfer of society seal and the oath by the new Executive Committee marked the start of a new session of office. We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to all participants who shared this remarkable moment with us. Thank you for your support.
