Operated and managed by the LKS Faculty of Medicine, RMS and PMR are both situated in Sassoon Road Campus of The University of Hong Kong. Both Residences are within 10-minute walk to Queen Mary Hospital where medical students undergoing clinical training.

Madam S H Ho Residence for Medical Students (RMS) is a nine-storey building that accommodates 154 residents, most of them are either students taking a specialty clerkship or final year MBBS students.

Patrick Manson Student Residence (PMR) is a four-storey building that accommodates about 128 residents, including local and overseas students under LKS Faculty of Medicine. Subject to availability, bedrooms are reserved for visitors of the Faculty on request.
