The UGAD course will have 10 sessions with each session lasting 2.5 hours, with the exception of a 1.5 hour final session.
The topics will be further selected according to the needs of the groups.
Session One: Guidance and Counselling in Schools
Course introduction Introduction of the Problem-based Learning Mode Organization of collaborative learning groups What is guidance and what is counselling?
What can teachers do to facilitate the whole-person development of students? - A helping process and individual interaction - Preventive and developmental focus? Reactive and remedial orientation?

At end of the session, the participants will be able to: 1. Differentiate between guidance and counseling 2. Suggest some guidance services at school to facilitate the whole-person development of students |
