Asia Global Institute launches AsiaGlobal Online journal (English only)
2018年01月15日
The Asia Global Institute at the University of Hong Kong has launched the AsiaGlobal Online journal.
In its inaugural issue, the journal reflects on the social meanings of economic exchanges, from contemporary and historical perspectives. Nobel Laureate economist Professor Michael Spence discusses the necessity to make economic growth more inclusive, while historian Mr Romain Bertrand reminds us of the intricate links between trade patterns and moral values.
As Asia is becoming the pivot of global transformations, it is essential to bring Asian perspectives into the global discourse. AsiaGlobal Online’s network of contributors includes top scholars, experts, policymakers, and professionals from around the world, with particular attention to those from Asian countries. It is backed by a distinguished editorial board composed of internationally recognized scholars, practitioners, and thought leaders.
With two short, thought-provoking articles every week, the journal publishes policy-relevant insights on global issues and from Asian perspectives. In a fast-changing, globalized world, the online platform informs leaders in politics, business, and society to take action towards a more promising future. It stimulates debate on such issues as globalization, development, global governance, sustainability, and the impact of technology.
Join the mailing list and receive the journal in your inbox every week.
