Dear colleagues and students,


After having reviewed the ongoing situation, the access control measures for the University’s Main Campus and Centennial Campus will continue to be in effect next week. Due to security concerns, authorised staff at the entrances may perform random searches of the personal bags and items brought with those entering the campus.

Please remember to carry your valid UID with you for campus access and at all times while on all University premises.

HKU members who do not have a valid UID card must enter through the checkpoint at West Gate.

We will continue monitoring the situation and update you online on the University's homepage and the HKU Portal landing page.

Please continue to stay vigilant and safe.
