HKU Inauguration Ceremony for New Students

The University of Hong Kong (HKU) will welcome its new students to the University at the Inauguration Ceremony this Wednesday (August 28).  The Guest of Honour, Dr. York Chow, Chairperson of the Equal Opportunities Commission will address the students.  Other HKU family members who will give welcoming address at the Ceremony are Vice-Chancellor Professor Lap-Chee Tsui, Dean of Student Affairs Dr. Albert Chau, Chairman of Convocation Mr. Choi Sau Yuk and President of the Hong Kong University Students' Union Mr. Laurence Tang.

Members of the media are cordially invited to cover the event, the details are:
