HKU to hold meet-the-media session on new Vice-Chancellor selection

The Selection Committee for the Next Vice-Chancellor set up by the Council of the University of Hong Kong (HKU) has recommended the appointment of Professor Peter William Mathieson as the next Vice-Chancellor. The recommendation will be considered by the Council tomorrow (October 4, Friday) and a meet-the-media session will be held afterwards. Details are as below:

Venue : Convocation Room, Room 218 Main Building, the University of Hong Kong

Before the meeting of the Council, Professor Peter William Mathieson will meet with HKU students, staff, alumni and the Senate. The consultation sessions are for HKU members only and there will be no media arrangements.
