HKU Equal Opportunities Festival 2013 - Forum on “What it takes to be different”

The University of Hong Kong (HKU) has been holding the Equal Opportunity Festival 2013 from November 5 to November 22. The theme of this year is “To build an inclusive society with respect to sexual equality”. As a major highlight of the Festival, a forum on “What it takes to be different” will be held tomorrow (November 12) at HKU. Invited guests including Master of HKU St. John’s College Dr. Eric Chong, Legislative Council member Ms. Cyd Ho, Chief Campaigner of Big Love Alliance Mr. Brian Leung and Vice-President of Queer Straight Alliance Mr. Geoffrey Yeung will speak from their experience and their views on gender equality including homosexual, bisexual and transgender issues, and religious point of views on them. Dr. Travis Kong of the HKU Department of Sociology will be the moderator of the forum. Details are as follows:
