HKU new Vice-Chancellor to assume office in April 2014

The Vice-Chancellor-designate of the University of Hong Kong Professor Peter William Mathieson will assume office on April 1, 2014.

HKU Vice-Chancellor Professor Lap-Chee Tsui has agreed, at the request of the Council of the University, to stay on until the arrival of Professor Mathieson. The Council offered its sincere thanks to Professor Tsui for his willingness to help facilitate a smooth transition of the University’s leadership.
