General Education Seminar at HKU The Twelve Nights Rescue Project produced by Giddens Ko
26 Mar 2014
Produced by Taiwanese writer Giddens Ko, the film Twelve Nights promotes adoption instead of purchase of pets. In Taiwan, street dogs captured in some shelters will be euthanized if they are not adopted in 12 days. Giddens is invited to HKU to share the process of the film production and the planning of the “rescue project”.
This seminar is organized by the General Education Unit of HKU which has been providing non-credit bearing programmes to all students of the University. The programme aims to create an intellectual and humanistic campus climate which is conducive to students’ growth, intellectual discussion, cultural interflow, reading, and art appreciation.
