HKU Centre for Chinese Law to hold forum on
'One Country Two Systems’ and Central Government Policy towards Hong Kong

The Centre for Chinese Law of the Faculty of Law of the University of Hong Kong will hold a forum on “One Country Two Systems’ and Central Government Policy towards Hong Kong” tomorrow (April 12). At the forum, issues including the introduction of universal suffrage in the election of the Chief Executive in 2017, and the relationship and interaction between Hong Kong and Mainland China in the political, economic and social dimensions will be discussed.
The discussion will be chaired by Professor Johannes Chan, Dean of Law; and Professor Albert H.Y. Chen, Chan Professor in Constitutional Law. Other speakers include:
- Professor Zou Pingxue, Associate Dean, Law School of Shenzhen University
- Mr Andrew Fung Ho Keung, Chief Executive Officer, Hong Kong Policy Research Institute
- Professor Sonny Lo Shiu Hing, Professor and Head of Department of Social Sciences, the Hong Kong Institute of Education
- Dr Peter T.Y. Cheung, Associate Professor, Department of Politics and Public Administration, the University of Hong Kong
