“Flawed Mind”
Dialogue with People from the Psychology Field

To promote psychology to the public, Psychology Student Society, Department of Psychology and the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Hong Kong (HKU) invite the public to join a free journey to explore the wonderland of psychology (PsyJourney) from late-March to mid-April.
Flawed Mind – Dialogue with People from the Psychology Field will be held on April 12 (tomorrow) at HKU. This public talk surrounding the topic focusing on flawed mind will mark the end of one-month-long PsyJourney. Through sharing of different aspects of flawed mind by experts from the psychology field, audience will hear theories behind different types of flawed mind, and daily examples from this thinking defect. This public talk will be conducted mainly in Cantonese, and Chinese translation will be provided on the PowerPoint slides presented by English speaker. Debriefing notes will be provided to the audiences to further enhance their understanding of relevant knowledge.
Speakers:
Dr. Jeff Saunders
Dr. Saunders is an associate professor in Department of Psychology in University of Hong Kong. Graduated as a Ph.D. student in cognitive science in the Brown University, Saunders has been conducting research and education in cognitive psychology field and is specialized in computational modelling, visual perception, as well as perception and action. Recently, Saunders has been one of the lecturers of the Hong Kong Young Brain Scientist Program.
Mr. Indie Chung
Mr. Chung is a visiting lecturer and curriculum developer in Hong Kong Polytechnic University as well as the founder of Life Insight, an organization focusing on market research and education consultancy. Chung is an alumnus of the University of Hong Kong, and was graduated from the University of Oxford as a British Chevening Scholar in Psychology and Research. He has been a speaker or consultant at organizations such as JPMorgan, Hong Kong Jockey Club, MTR Corporation, Maxim's Group and Immigration Department.
