Thirty-five HKU students join
“Hong Kong - Shanghai Future Leaders Internship Program 2014”

The University of Hong Kong (HKU) has collaborated with the Hong Kong-Shanghai Youth Exchange Promotion Association to arrange for the fourth year HKU students to take up summer internships in leading companies in Shanghai.
A total of 35 students were selected from among 300 applicants. They will participate in a seven-week internship programme in Shanghai, taking up various posts at leading Mainland and overseas companies including consulting firms, banks, private equity firms, property developers, law firms and entreprises. The students will also have the opportunities to take part in CEO discussion forums, and exchange activities at FudanU and other organisations.
A ceremony to kick off the internship programme was held today (June 5), before the students will depart for Shanghai on June 10. The ceremony was officiated by Vice Head of Youth Development Department of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government Ms. Tong Shu Lan, Principal Assistant Secretary for Home Affairs Mr Vincent Fung, and HKU Dean of Student Affairs Dr. Albert Chau.
