Indoor Air 2014
Leading scientists from Asia (such as National University of Singapore、Tsinghua University、University of Tokyo、Seoul National University), Europe (such as University of Cambridge, University College London, Technical University of Braunschweig, Germany) and US (such as US Environment Protection Agency (EPA), UC Berkeley, and Harvard School of Public Health) will present plenary and keynote talks in different areas of indoor air sciences. These plenary speakers cover the topics including history and future of indoor air sciences, indoor air quality in developing countries, rural areas, ventilation of buildings, and other peripheral disciplines such as urban planning, urban climate, green buildings, and architecture.
The 980 papers included in the conference programme were selected from nearly 1500 abstracts. These papers are categorized into 31 topics on fundamentals of indoor air sciences, application of indoor air sciences, emerging issues and new technologies. Examples are indoor air chemistry, physics, microbiology, ventilation, thermal comfort, respiratory infection, climate change, smart and mobile technologies etc.
The conference will be attended by more than 1000 participants from about 550 universities, research institutes and leading industry from 45 countries and regions. The top three participant countries are Mainland China (251 participants), Japan (113) and US (105). 79 professors and students from universities in Hong Kong will attend the conference.
