Palliative Social Work Satellite Symposium 2016 & Hospicehome ‘The Moment’ Photo Contest 2015 Prizing Ceremony

The Department of Social Work and Social Administration of the University of Hong Kong will hold the Palliative Social Work Satellite Symposium 2016 & Hospicehome ‘The Moment’ Photo Contest 2015 Prizing Ceremony on October 27 (Thursday).
The symposium provides an opportunity for professionals including social workers and nursing staff members, and academics from Hong Kong and Singapore to engage in exchanges on palliative care and end-of-life services, with an aim to improve the quality of death in Hong Kong. The theme for this year is “Further in Palliative Social Work: Collaborations for Innovations”.
A prize presentation ceremony for the Hospicehome ‘The Moment’ photo contest 2015 will be held on the occasion.
The symposium is organized by the HKU Department of Social Work and Social Administration in collaboration with the Chapter on Medical Social Service Hong Kong Social Workers Association, HKU Centre on Behavioral Health, HKU Centre for Cancer Research, and HKU Sau Po Centre on Ageing. It is fully sponsored by the Li Ka Shing Foundation "Heart of Gold" Hong Kong Hospice Service Program.
