HKU to hold Excellence Awards Presentation Ceremony 2017
to honour outstanding staff members

The University of Hong Kong (HKU) will hold the HKU Excellence Awards Presentation Ceremony 2017 for academic and administrative staff members on March 26 (Monday).
The annual event is held to honour outstanding academics for their exceptional contributions in teaching and learning and in research, and to recognise staff members’ contributions to knowledge exchange with society. A new Professional Services Award has been introduced this year to honour those who have outstanding performance in professional services.
HKU Acting President and Vice-Chancellor Professor Paul K H Tam will officiate at the ceremony. Pro-Chancellor Dr the Honourable Sir David Li Kwok Po will be the Guest of Honour.
Eight categories of awards will be presented at the ceremony. They are the Outstanding Teaching Award, Early Career Teaching Award, Teaching Innovation Award, Outstanding Researcher Award, Outstanding Young Researcher Award, Outstanding Research Student Supervisor Award, Knowledge Exchange Excellence Award and the inaugural Professional Services Award.
