School-University Partnerships Symposium 2018
Teacher Learning and Teaching in the Age of STREAM PARTNERSHIP FOR ALL

As part of the Centenary Celebration of Teacher Education at The University of Hong Kong, the School-University Partnerships Symposium 2018 (the Symposium) will be held to celebrate and share the success of different levels of partnership with local schools such as teacher education, research, and professional support. Our Faculty Dean, Professor A. Lin Goodwin would also take this golden opportunity to foster closer collaboration with schools and envision future partnerships with our stakeholders in the community.
The symposium will be officiated by Mr Kevin Yeung Yun-hung, JP, Secretary for Education, Education Bureau, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region followed by keynote speeches delivered by Professor John Williams, Professor of Education and the Director of Graduate Research in the School of Education at Curtin University, Perth, Western Australia and Mrs Chua-Lim Yen Ching, Executive Director, Academy of Singapore Teachers and Deputy Director-General of Education (Professional Development), Ministry of Education, Singapore.
Interactive workshops sharing products of partnership from University-School Support Programme (USP) projects will be conducted by Faculty colleagues and other workshops centred around the theme of teaching and learning in the Age of STREAM will be conducted by principals and teachers from the following five schools:
- Aldrich Bay Government Primary School
- Shak Chung Shan Memorial Catholic Primary School
- St Edward’s Catholic Primary School
- HKMA David Li Kwok Po College
- SKH St Mary's Church Mok Hing Yiu College
