To foster talents and further educational collaboration, the University of Hong Kong (HKU) and Tsinghua University (THU) will jointly offer two Dual Bachelor’s Degree Programmes, one in Business and Economics under the Faculty of Business and Economics, the other in Computer Science and Technology under the Faculty of Engineering. Students who complete the four-year programmes will receive bachelor's degree certificates from both universities respectively.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony will be held on November 30, 2018 (Friday). HKU President Professor Xiang Zhang and THU President Professor Qiu Yong will officiate at the event.
The collaboration is to leverage the unique capabilities of two top universities in the region. This is the first time for TsinghuaU in Beijing to partner with a university outside the Mainland on dual-degree programmes, and the first time for HKU to collaborate with a Mainland university on dual degree programmes at undergraduate level.

Venue: LG.08 Centennial Campus (opposite Grand Hall, Lee Shau Kee Lecture Centre)
After the signing ceremony, Ms Isabella Wong, Associate Vice-President, HKU and Mr Yang Bin, Vice-President, THU will give a briefing on the dual degree programmes and answer media queries.
