The Department of Civil Engineering of the University of Hong Kong (HKU) held the annual Scholarship Presentation Ceremony to present scholarships and awards to 25 students, including undergraduates and taught postgraduates. Award recipients, donors, parents and teaching staff attended the Ceremony to share the joy.

The Guest of Honour, Mr Robert Chan, Principal Government Engineer/Railway Development of Department of Highways, delivered a speech and presented souvenirs to sponsors for their generosity in offering contributions to the cause of academic excellence. This year, the Scholarship Presentation was held at the Convocation Room in the Main Building, HKU, on April 9, 2019. It was a chance not only for the students to thank their donors personally, but also for them to interact and exchange with prominent engineers from the industry.
