With regard to the incident of hate speech being posted on campus at HKU, the University Senior Management Team strenuously reiterates that they strongly condemn this act and will not tolerate this kind of unethical and cold-blooded hate speech. This act is not representative of the views of the majority of HKU staff and students.
We are deeply shocked and regret that the campus has been used as a platform for spreading this message of hate. We believe that all University members, upholding high ethical values of empathy and conscience, must clearly tell those perpetuating hate messages that their acts are not tolerated on this campus.
