HKU launches “One-Stop Shop for Undergraduate Admissions” for students to obtain the latest admissions information anytime, anywhere.

The University of Hong Kong (HKU) has launched “One-Stop Shop for Undergraduate Admissions” (https://www.infoday.hku.hk), a comprehensive platform with new programmes and admissions information for the 2020-21 academic year. Programme curriculum and admissions requirements are introduced and explained in an array of admissions talks and faculty talks in video format. Students, parents and teachers will have the chance for real-time enquiries through online admissions talks and question-and-answer (Q&A) sessions.
In November, several faculties will arrange facilities tours, mock lectures and face-to-face consultation sessions on campus. Students can register on the “One-Stop Shop” platform to join the activities to learn more about HKU and plan their university studies ahead of time.
Online admissions talks and Q&A sessions on November 2
On November 2 (Saturday), HKU will organise online admissions talks and Q&A sessions to provide the latest admissions information for JUPAS, Non-JUPAS and Direct Admissions Scheme (DAS) candidates. Crucial information for university application such as the latest admissions requirements, selection principle and criteria and other important information will be explained in detail by the HKU Admissions Office. Secondary school students who are applying to university soon are encouraged to join these sessions.

HKU and the University of California, Berkeley will organise a joint webinar from 4pm to 5pm on November 2. Representative from the University of California, Berkeley, will talk about the programme curriculum, admissions requirements and application procedures.

Videos of these admissions talks will be uploaded to the “One-Stop Shop” platform from November 3 onwards, students, parents and teachers will be able to watch the play-back online. In addition, a live chat session will be available from 4pm to 7pm, every Monday to Wednesday in November, where questions related to HKU application will be answered instantly.
Get to know HKU through faculty talks and activities
Apart from HKU admissions talks, videos of the latest admissions talks of different programmes, student sharing and facilities tours are also available on the “One-Stop Shop” platform. Most faculties will set up real-time live chat sessions in November for students to ask questions. Faculties such as Faculty of Architecture, Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine and Faculty of Social Sciences will organise a variety of activities in November, including facilities tours, mock lectures and workshops on campus etc. Students who are interested can refer to the details and register on the “One-Stop Shop” platform.
