The University of Hong Kong (HKU) offers programmes that keep pace with the times to nurture talents for the future. In the 2022-23 academic year, seven new programmes, including a revamped programme, will be launched.
Among the new programmes are five big-data driven programmes introduced in response to the growing demand for data science professionals under the rapid economic development.

A media conference will be held on October 27 (Wednesday) to announce the details. The speakers include Professor Reynold Cheng, Programme Director of Bachelor of Engineering in Data Science and Engineering; Dr. Joshua Ho, Programme Co-Director of Bachelor of Science in Bioinformatics; and Professor Bennett Yim, Director of Undergraduate Admissions and International Student Exchange. The latest admissions requirements and scholarships for JUPAS students will also be announced on the occasion.
