“An Out-of-this-world Live Chat with Astronauts in Space Station on New Year’s Day 2022” was held today (January 1, 2022) in the afternoon at Loke Yew Hall, the University of Hong Kong. The event was hosted by the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, the Government of the Macau Special Administrative Region, Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Hong Kong S.A.R., Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Macao S.A.R., China Manned Space Agency, and China Media Group, and was jointly organized by Tsinghua University, the University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Coalition, University of Macau, and the Macau University of Science and Technology.

Students from Beijing, Hong Kong, and Macau engaged in a real-time interaction and dialogue of around half an hour with three Shenzhou-13 astronauts - Zhai Zhigang, Wang Yaping, and Ye Guangfu, for a stellar exploration of space together.
