(February 20, 2023 – Hong Kong) The Edward K Y Chen Distinguished Lecture 2023, titled “China: in the eyes of an HKU Graduate & Fortune 500 CEO” presented by HKU Business School was successfully held today. Our distinguished alumna Ms. Joey Wat, CEO of Yum China Holdings, Inc., shared her insights into how the largest restaurant company in China, navigated the pandemic and continued to grow, from pivoting quickly to expanding its portfolio.
The lecture attracted hundreds of participants. Audiences actively participated in the Q&A session before Professor Edward K Y Chen, Honorary Professor of HKU Business School concluded the lecture.
