The Inclusive Education & Employment – Business and School Partnership Scheme is under the auspice of the Jockey Club Collaboration Project for Inclusive Employment, the Centre for Civil Society and Governance of The University of Hong Kong. The Project is funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust. This award ceremony acknowledges organizational representatives and individuals who have fulfilled the Scheme's requirements. Through knowledge exchange sessions, organization visits, and experiential workshops, the Scheme facilitates the corporates to understand how diverse talents can bring value to business operations and how it fits into the increasingly popular requirements of “Environment, Social and Governance” (ESG). It also raises the education sector's understanding of businesses’ concerns and job market trends. Moreover, it encourages collaborations between the corporate sector and mainstream schools to develop more tailored career planning services for special educational needs (SEN) students to enhance their employability, develop inclusive workplace culture, and promote social inclusion.
This award ceremony will be officiated by Mr. Chris SUN, JP, Secretary for Labour and Welfare, Labour and Welfare Bureau, HKSARG, Ms. Imelda CHAN, Head of Charities (Healthy Community), The Hong Kong Jockey Club and Professor Wai-fung LAM, Director of CCSG-HKU.
