The University of Hong Kong (HKU) Asia Global Institute will host its premier forum, AsiaGlobal Dialogue (AGD) 2023, at Loke Yew Hall on November 17.
Dr Victor Fung, Chairman of Asia Global Institute, and Professor Xiang Zhang, President and Vice-Chancellor of HKU, will deliver opening and welcoming remarks.
Themed A New Global Growth Paradigm in a Multimodal World, AGD 2023 will explore key drivers in shaping better economies in a multimodal world; financial technology and sustainable growth; and the transformative impact of digitalization in finance and development, among others.
“In the face of escalating geopolitical tensions worldwide, it is imperative for thought leaders to engage in constructive conversations, hopefully offering some ideas for solutions," said Professor Heiwai Tang, Director of the Asia Global Institute. “At AGD 2023, we look forward to welcoming renowned experts to deliberate on pressing issues such as climate risks, the impact of transformative technological adoption in finance and economies, as well as inclusive and sustainable development, here in Hong Kong.”
