While the exhibition is being held, career talks will be presented on May 22 to 24 from 5:00pm to 6:00pm at the venue to provide students with detailed information on career prospects for each of the undergraduate curricula.
The University of Hong Kong has been providing professional training in architecture since 1950. With rapid development in the architectural and building professions, a building programme was also included in 1975. The School of Architecture was established in 1978 which grew to form the Faculty of Architecture in 1984.
The Faculty of Architecture now consists of two departments: the Department of Architecture and Department of Real Estate & Construction. Through the two departments, the Faculty offers two undergraduate degree programmes: Bachelor of Arts in Architectural Studies and Bachelor of Science in Surveying. Both curricula receive professional recognition locally and overseas.
The Opening Ceremony for the Exhibition will be held at 11:00am, May 21, 2001 at 2/F Lobby, Times Square, Causeway Bay. Dr T Kvan, Dean of the Faculty, will officiate at the ceremony. Reporters / photographers are cordially invited to attend.

HKU's Faculty of Architecture to Organise an Exhibition for Undergraduate Admissions

In order to provide more information of undergraduate degree programmes to potential applicants, the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Hong Kong (HKU) has organised the “2001-2002 Faculty of Architecture Exhibition for Undergraduate Admission” from May 21-25, 2001 (11:00am – 9:00pm) at 2/F Lobby, Times Square, Causeway Bay.
