Hong Kong Institution of Science The 9th Annual Conference (Press Invitation)

The 9th Annual Conference of the Hong Kong Institution of Science (HKIS) will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2001 at the Rayson Huang Theatre at the University of Hong Kong. This year's conference, entitled New Frontiers in Science and Technology in Hong Kong – Nano-technology as an Example, is co-organised by the HKIS and the University of Hong Kong (HKU).

The morning session of the conference will focus on the development of science and technology in Hong Kong while the afternoon session, on the recent developments in the field of Nano-technology. The opening address of the conference will be delivered by the Hon Donald Tsang, Chief Secretary of HKSAR Government.
