Celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival with Students
17 Sep 2005
To welcome students back to the University and to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival, the University Libraries organised a library-wide orientation game, "Lantern Riddles" on 15 September (Thursday), to get students into the swing of things. Through the game, student had learned more about the Libraries and had a chance to win a Palm handheld!
The game started from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm on 15 September. We hanged lanterns everywhere in the Main Library and in all library branches. A question on a piece of paper about the Libraries was attached to each lantern. Students just needed to take the paper and go to the designated counter with their answers. If they got the correct answers, they would be rewarded with a prize immediately.
The Libraries received an overwhelming participation from over than 500 hundred students.
All participants will also automatically be entered into our grand lucky draw, with a chance to win the latest Palm PDA. The winner will be notified by email in late September.
