Economic growth of China has transformed the landscape of world business and the global economy. At a time when prices of energy, precious metals and commodities are all at or near record levels, renowned speakers from the UK, USA and Hong Kong will address how the world economy will evolve, how global companies should refine their China strategies in order to profit from this increasingly important market and how competitive will Chinese industries be in the global marketplace in a symposium entitled "World Economic Prospects and the Future of Business in China" on 2 June 2006.
