An "Endowed Professorship" is one of the most significant awards bestowed upon eminent academics within the University of Hong Kong. In 2005, eight endowed professorships were established.
An Advisory Committee ensures the appointments to the Endowed Professorships are made in accordance with established University procedures. The Committee members include Dr Raymond Ch’ien (Chairman), Dr Eden Woon, Professor Y K Cheung and Professor Felice Lieh-Mak.
