The 7th China Economics Annual Conference (CEAC)

Over 250 economists and academics will gather in Hong Kong next Monday (December 17) to exchange views on the essential trends that affect the finance in Hong Kong and the Mainland China.
They are to attend the HK Session of the 7th China Economics Annual Conference (CEAC) at The University of Hong Kong (HKU) campus. Established in 2001, it is the first time the CEAC -- a nation-wide annual exchange platform for economists - conducted meeting in the southern part of the country. The first 2 days of the conference is to be held in Shenzhen, while the final session and closing ceremony is to take place in HK.
The CEAC is organized every year in different Mainland cities by the economics school of 11 renowned universities. HKU's School of Economics and Finance is the only HK institution on the CEAC management board.
Organisers of this year's CEAC are: School of Economics and Finance, HKU; School of Economics, Shenzhen University; and Shenzhen Graduate School of Business, Peking University. Brookings-Tsing Hua Centre is the co-organiser for the panel discussion.
