HKU Civil Engineering Students to Receive Scholarships

Thirty-three Year 1 to Year 3 undergraduate students and Postgraduate students from the Department of Civil Engineering of the University of Hong Kong (HKU) are to receive scholarships tomorrow (1 February 2008) from donors in the Civil Engineering profession and the community.
Professor Mak Chai Kwong, Permanent Secretary for Development (Works), will be the Guest of Honour. At the Ceremony, souvenirs will also be presented to all sponsors to thank them for their generosity in offering contributions to the cause of academic excellence. Professor Mak will also address the assembly.

Cheung Scholarship, Maunsell Geotechnical Engineering Scholarship, Chan Hon Chuen Scholarship, Choi Kin Chung Scholarship, Chun Wo Foundation Scholarship, Hip Hing Construction Scholarship, Wong Nai Yin Scholarship, Civil Engineering Scholarships for Mainland Students, HKURC-HKIUS Utility Specialists Fund Scholarship, Highways into the Next Century 1996 International Conference Scholarship, AGS Scholarship, and Mr. Tsoi Tit Long Scholarship.
