Public Seminar on Shanghai World Expo

Shanghai World Expo will be held from May 1 to October 31 in 2010. It is the first-of-the-kind exhibition that focuses on cities. Themed on ‘Better City, Better Life', Shanghai World Expo will look at urban civilization, facilitate exchange of cities' experiences in urban development, raise the international awareness to explore new approaches to create an eco-friendly society where humankind and nature can co-exist in harmony.
Members of the press are cordially invited to attend a seminar on Shanghai World Expo with the following details:

Speaker: Prof. Wu Zhiqiang (吳志強教授)

Prof. Wu is the chief designer of Shanghai World Expo's world-class venue (上海世界博覽會園區總規劃師), Dean of College of Architecture and Urban Planning of Tongji University (同濟大學建築與城市規劃學院院長), and Vice President of China Association of City Planning (中國城市規劃學會副理事長). He will enlighten us on the relationship between China and Shanghai World Expo, and the planning of the international exhibition.
