Opening ceremony of “Respect, See it again” exhibition on cultural diversity
02 Oct 2009
The Cultural Diversity Ambassador Programme (CDA) invites you to attend the opening ceremony of an exhibition based on the theme "Respect. See it again" at the University of Hong Kong.
The purpose for this exhibition is to showcase creative ideas and artistic beauty to raise awareness for intercultural communication. This will include an African fashion show, an original song performance, and guided tours of a diverse collection of exhibits showcasing a multitude of mediums from Chinese painting to video and photography.
Twenty-nine ambassadors with more than 15 nationalities recruited under the CDA Programme this year will share with fellow students their feelings, thoughts and perspectives gained after spending several fruitful weekends visiting different sectors in the community and participating in workshops. They have visualized all kinds of inspirations that are going to give the audience a chance to think and rethink.
The CDA Programme is offered to local, mainland and international students of the University to train them to be good ambassadors on intercultural relationships.
