HKU Faculty of Engineering to award students and honour teachers

The Faculty of Engineering of The University of Hong Kong (HKU) will present prizes and awards to over 200 outstanding students and teachers in recognition of their achievements and excellence in research and teaching. The Prize Presentation Ceremony will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Loke Yew Hall.
Ir. Dr. Andrew Chan, President of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers, will be the Guest of Honour to present awards to outstanding students winning faculty-based prizes.
Professor P. K. H. Tam, Pro-Vice-Chancellor and Vice-President of HKU, will present awards to students who have won external prizes.
This year's Dean's Honours List will be presented by Professor George L. Tham, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Engineering.
