Professor Roger Y. Tsien to give Distinguished Lecture on "Turning Green into Gold by Harnessing Natural and Human Diversity"

Nobel Laureate Professor Roger Y. Tsien will give a Distinguished Lecture entitled "Turning Green into Gold by Harnessing Natural and Human Diversity" on Wednesday (December 9) at the University of Hong Kong.
In the lecture, Professor Tsien will show how diverse organisms, beautiful colours, and international collaborations contributed to scientific progress and economic value.
Professor Tsien is a renowned expert of green fluorescent protein (GFP). In 2008, he was named a co-recipient of the Nobel Prize in Chemistry for his contributions to the discovery and development of the GFP.
