Professor Frederick Ma speaks on "Will Shanghai Become an International Financial Centre by 2020?"

Professor Frederick Ma, Honorary Professor of the School of Economics and Finance, the University of Hong Kong, will give a lecture on "Will Shanghai Become an International Financial Centre by 2020?" at the University on February 4 (Thursday).
Professor Ma is the guest speaker of the "Wu Yee Sun Education Fund Lecture" held by the HKU School of Economics and Finance. In the lecture, Professor Ma will share his insights on the emergence of Shanghai as an international financial centre and compare Shanghai to Hong Kong.
Professor Ma joined HKU as an Honorary Professor in October 2008. He was Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury, and Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development in the HKSAR Government. He is currently the Chairman and Non Executive Director of China Strategic Holdings Limited.
