Grand Opening Ceremony of the Centre for Advanced Dental Care Faculty of Dentistry, The University of Hong Kong

The grand opening ceremony of the Centre for Advanced Dental Care of the Faculty of Dentistry of The University of Hong Kong will be hosted on 27 May 2010, at 10:00 a.m., on the 6th Floor, Prince Philip Dental Hospital, 34 Hospital Road, Sai Ying Pun, Hong Kong.
The facility is designed to be Hong Kong's centre of higher clinical training for undergraduates, postgraduates, and visiting dentists from both local and international communities, as well as a treatment centre for patients requiring complex and cross-disciplinary management. The Centre for Advanced Dental Care not only embraces the Faculty's vision to be Asia's leading Faculty of Dentistry, through its state-of-the-art facilities for teaching and provision of holistic dental care, but it also aims to serve as a collaborative platform for dental practitioners and clinical research scholars within and outside the Faculty, particularly greater China and the Asia-Pacific region.
Dr. Rita Fan Hsu Lai Tai (Standing Committee Member of the Eleventh National People's Congress of the People's Republic of China) and Dr. Philip K.H. Wong (Chairman of the HKU Foundation) will be the Guests of Honour to officiate at the ceremony. Other guests include Professor S.P. Chow (Pro-Vice-Chancellor of HKU).
