Inaugural Symposium of “C9+1”Universities in China: “Re-envisioning Undergraduate Education”

Vice presidents and representatives who mastermind the undergraduate curriculum reforms at the University of Hong Kong (HKU) and the top nine universities in China shared their views on issues relating to undergraduate curriculum and student learning in a symposium held at HKU from September 20 to 21.
During the two day symposium titled "Re-envisioning Undergraduate Education", participants held deep discussions on the strategies for improving teaching and learning, and reform measures on undergraduate curriculum.
The symposium has marked the strengthening of collaboration between HKU and the C9 universities.
The league of nine top universities, commonly referred to as C9, composes of Tsinghua University, Peking University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Fudan University, Zhejiang University, Nanjing University, University of Science and Technology in China, Harbin Institute of Technology and Xi'an Jiao Tong University.
