HKU Study on Family Communication Patterns in Hong Kong

The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust has taken the initiative to launch the "FAMILY: A Jockey Club Initiative for a Harmonious Society" project (FAMILY project), in collaboration with the School of Public Health, The University of Hong Kong. At the end of 2009, a territory-wide survey entitled "Hong Kong Family and Health Information Trends Survey" (HK - FHInTS) was conducted, aiming to cover a wide variety of topics related to family communication patterns, family relationships, and the scores of family health, happiness, and harmony (3Hs).
This survey describes the communication patterns among Hong Kong families and their family relationships, as well as the relations between family communication patterns and family 3Hs. FAMILY project investigators will elaborate their findings at the conference on 26 September 2010. Media representatives are cordially invited to attend the press conference, details are as follows:
