International Leaders to Speak at the International Forum on Logistics and Supply Chain Management

(October 11, 2010, Hong Kong) - The School of Business, E-Business Technology Institute and the Department of Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering of the University of Hong Kong will be holding an International Forum on Logistics and Supply Chain Management on October 13. World leaders in academic and the industry will gather at the Cyperport campus of the Faculty of Business and Economics (FBE) to exchange views on logistics and supply chain management development and its relevance to sustainable economic development for Hong Kong's strategic positioning as a regional and international business centre.
The Guest of Honour and Keynote Speaker for the Conference are Miss Janet Wong, Commissioner for Innovation and Technology, HKSAR and Dr. Victor Fung, Group Chairman, Li & Fung Group respectively. Other confirmed distinguished speakers include Mr Ma Yongzhi of the Transport Committee of Shenzhen Municipality, Professor Stephen C. Graves of the Sloan School of Management, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Professor Ellis Johnson of the School of Industrial and Systems Engineering, Georgia Institute of Technology, Dr Kenneth Tse of FBE, and Mr Tommy Lui of IDS Logistics and more.
