HKU to hold Award Presentation Ceremony for Excellence in Teaching and Research 2010

The University of Hong Kong (HKU) will hold its annual Award Presentation Ceremony for Excellence in Teaching and Research 2010 tomorrow (Feb 17) to honour and celebrate the dedication and outstanding teaching and research achievements of distinguished colleagues.

HKU Vice-Chancellor Professor Lap-Chee Tsui will preside at the ceremony and HKU Council Chairman Dr the Honourable Leong Che-hung will be the Guest of Honour.

During the ceremony, six categories of awards will be conferred upon a number of our colleagues which include the University Distinguished Teaching Award, Outstanding Teaching Award, Outstanding Research Student Supervisor Award, Outstanding Researcher Award, Outstanding Young Researcher Award, and Research Output Prize. This year, a team award has been introduced under the Outstanding Teaching Award to honour distinguished team work by faculty members.
