HKU alumni launch "From Confusion to Contribution" campaign

A group of HKU alumni have responded to the Financial Secretary's announcement that each Hong Kong permanent resident will receive $6000. With an appeal entitled "From Confusion to Contribution", the alumni are advocating that a donation be made to charity, or to support HKU projects that benefit those in need. The two HKU projects recommended are the "First-in-the-Family Education Fund" to support needy students (www.fife.hku.hk) and the "Service 100" campaign which provides new initiatives and service opportunities.
