CUHK wins Vice-Chancellor's Cup Soccer Match 2011

The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) beat the University of Hong Kong (HKU) by 4:2 in the annual Vice-Chancellor's Cup Soccer Match held today (March 6) in HKU's Stanley Ho Sports Centre at Sandy Bay.

HKU Vice-Chancellor Professor Lap-Chee Tsui and CU Vice-Chancellor Professor Joseph J.Y. Sung officiated the opening and the kickoff in the morning.

It is the 8th soccer match this year since it was first played in 2003 to commemorate the collaboration of the two universities during the SARS ordeal. Including the game today, CUHK captured a total of five titles, HKU won in one game, and joint winners in two counts including the 1-1 draw last year.
