HKU presents Long Service Awards to senior staff

The University of Hong Kong (HKU) held a Long Service Awards Presentation Ceremony to present awards to senior staff members today (June 2).
Vice-Chancellor Professor Lap-Chee Tsui officiated at the ceremony to honour dedicated academic and senior administrative staff of the University.
Long Service Awards are presented to staff members who have served the University for more than 25 years or 35 years. Awardees include teachers and professionals from various academic and support service departments.
A total of 19 staff members received the awards this year. Professor Joe Leung Cho Bun, professor of the Department of Social Work and Social Administration; and Professor Sin Chow Yiu, Hon-Yin and Suet-Fong Chan Professor in Chinese and Professor of the School of Chinese were among the recipients of the 35-year awards. This is the 18th year the University holds the Long Service Awards Presentation Ceremony for senior staff to extend its appreciation to loyal colleagues and to recognize their contributions.
