New Double Degree Programmes for New Curriculum Offered by Faculty of Education, HKU

The Faculty of Education of The University of Hong Kong is proud to announce its plans for Undergraduate Initial Teacher Education in 2012, with the launch of four new double degree programmes, offered in collaboration with three partner Faculties: Arts, Science, and Social Sciences.

The four new programmes are:

• Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education in Language Education - Chinese
  (jointly offered with Faculty of Arts)
• Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education in Language Education - English
  (jointly offered with Faculty of Arts)
• Bachelor of Education and Bachelor of Science (jointly offered with Faculty of Science)
• Bachelor of Education and Bachelor of Social Sciences (jointly offered with Faculty of Social Sciences)

The Faculty of Education, HKU will outline the curriculum and elaborate the features of the four new double degree programmes. Members of the media are cordially invited to attend a press briefing:
