New double degree programmes for new curriculum offered by HKU Faculty of Education
The Faculty of Education will hold a press briefing to outline the features of four new double degree programmes for the new curriculum in 2012. The programmes will be offered in collaboration with three partner Faculties of Arts, Science, and Social Sciences.
The four programmes are:
- Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education in Language Education - Chinese (jointly offered with Faculty of Arts)
- Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education in Language Education - English (jointly offered with Faculty of Arts)
- Bachelor of Education and Bachelor of Science (jointly offered with Faculty of Science)
- Bachelor of Education and Bachelor of Social Sciences (jointly offered with Faculty of Social Sciences)

Nobel Laureate Michael Spence to speak on Sustainable Growth in Asia: Challenges as the Advanced Economies Slow in a Resource-Constrained World
Nobel Laureate Professor Michael Spence, who is also the Academic Board Chairman of Fung Global Institute will be speaking on Sustainable Growth in Asia: Challenges as the Advanced Economies Slow in a Resource-Constrained World at HKU on Oct 21 (Friday). The event is jointly presented by the Fung Global Institute and its strategic partner in Hong Kong, the HKU Faculty of Business and Economics.
The event will be moderated by Professor Michael Enright, Sun Hung Kai Properties Professor, HKU, with Mr. Andrew Sheng, President of Fung Global Institute, as a panelist. Members of the media are cordially invited to attend the event as below:
