Information Day for Undergraduate Admissions 2011

The University of Hong Kong (HKU) will hold its Information Day for Undergraduate Admissions 2011 on October 29 & 30 (Saturday & Sunday), from 10am to 6pm.
To mark the Centenary of HKU, the Information Day will kick-off with an opening ceremony that will acknowledge the naming of "HKU Star", officiated by Vice-Chancellor Professor Lap-Chee Tsui, together with Dr. Fong Yun Wah and the representative of the Chinese Academy of Sciences Purple Mountain Observatory. Cast of "A Hundred Years of Home Stories", a theatre performance created by a group of HKU current students and alumni to celebrate the HKU Centenary, will lead the crowd to join hands in a joyful painting experience.
The two-day event aims to showcase the University programmes, activities and facilities to the public, particularly to the secondary schools students, teachers and parents. Teaching departments and halls of residence are open to the public for a better understanding of the campus life at HKU.

As no private vehicle will be allowed to drive in/out or park inside HKU campus during 08:00 - 19:00 on the two event days. All visitors are encouraged to use public transportation to reach HKU.
