HKU Inauguration Ceremony for New Students

The University of Hong Kong (HKU) will welcome its new students to the University at the Inauguration Ceremony tomorrow (September 12). This year, two sessions will be held to welcome students attending the three-year and four-year undergraduate programmes respectively.
Mrs Margaret Leung will be the Guest of Honour in the morning session to address students in the three-year curriculum, while Ms Mable Cheung will be the Guest of Honour to address students in the four-year curriculum in the afternoon. Other HKU family members who will give welcoming address at the Ceremony are Vice-Chancellor Professor Lap-Chee Tsui, Dean of Student Affairs Dr. Albert Chau, Chairman of Convocation Mr. Choi Sau Yuk, Clerk of Convocation Mr John Wan and President of the Hong Kong University Students' Union Mr Dan Chan Koon-hong.
